Arts Integration Into Education: Los Alamos to the Studio & the
Stage
It's 2006, the name of the workshop is The Future of Biodetection Systems,
[1] featured speakers [2] from industry, academia and national labs, the sponsor
is Los Alamos National Laboratory. The speaker on DNA
Based Technologies is Stephen M. Apatow, Humanitarian University Consortium
(workshop speaker biographies) [3]:
Stephen M. Apatow, President and Director of Research and Development,
of the nonprofit organization Humanitarian Resource Institute, is a specialist
in strategic planning and project development of initiatives associated with
human medicine, veterinary medicine and U.S. and international law.
Current programs include the internet based Biodefense Reference Library,
Foreign Animal and Zoonotic Disease Center, Bioinformatics: Pathobiological
Diagnostics Center and Biodefense Legal Reference Library. Educational
resource development for the veterinary and medical community include the
Foreign Animal Disease Online Course and the Zoonotic Disease Online Review.
To enhance collaboration between Humanitarian Resource Institute and the
international community of scholars, the Humanitarian University Consortium
was formed to enhance the development of initiatives associated with economic,
social, cultural and humanitarian issues worldwide. In 2004, Pathobiologics
International was formed as the Consulting Arm of Humanitarian Resource
Institute and the Humanitarian University Consortium.
Few know, this is the same Country Music Association Artist
Stephen Michael Apatow (ASCAP Composer/Publisher) [4], also
founder of the Sports Medicine and Science Institute [5] and International
Dancescience Development Program. [6] His background
represents the leadership that is behind the United Nations Arts Initiative
(Arts Integration Into Education). [7]

Campaign
Rock The World Campaign: Soundtracks from "Outside of the Box"
available on AirPlay Direct (High Quality Streams for radio stations

Music Association Artist Stephen Michael Apatow.
Orchestrated through the United Nations Arts Initiative,
international objectives are to:
- Promote collaboration
and empowerment of artists in every United Nations member country, to serve
as pathways to address the felt needs of their fans and communities.
- Provide a support
system for artist collaboration in strategic planning of initiatives, including
policy development.
- Assist grassroots,
national and international level communications strategies in conjunction
with concerts, events and media initiatives.
Communication network
integration, from the non-governmental organization
Humanitarian Resource Institute, [9] includes:
-- newspaper, radio and television, corporate, intergovernmental,
non-governmental, United Nations, community action and interfaith organizations
in 195 countries.
-- grassroots networks (household level), corporate, municipal,
state and federal government, community action and interfaith organizations
in 3100 United States Counties, 50 states.
Artists and members of the entertainment industry are invited to join
this international effort, that includes a listing of their industry links
and specific focus causes
that will be accessible on the United Nations
Arts Initiative web site.

Artists have the direct connection with the grassroots level and have
the capacity to inspire hope and healing. The combination of these
two encompasses the face of "Arts Integration Into Education," and our
spectrum of work here in the United States and 192 member states of the
